The kitchen at Bar Crispin is led by our head chef Fabien Spagnolo. Originally from Nimes, France, Fabien’s kitchen experience spans some of London’s top restaurants, including Frenchie, Pollen St Social and Hackney’s Casa Fofo.
The ethos of seasonality and sustainability runs through the veins of Crispin Group and is central to the food Fabien creates at Bar Crispin. By respecting each ingredient, we aim to celebrate great producers in the UK and create memorable experiences.
Our extensive primarily European wine list is curated by our head of wine Alex Price. The list focuses on producers who use organic and bio-dynamic practices producing wines that reflect a sense of place, and rare grape varietals with sustainability underpinning everything we do.
We highlight beloved regions of the Loire, Beaujolais, Savoie and the enticing oxidative styles of the Jura, while also listing wilder wines yielded from volcanic land and wonderful producers in places such as Tenerife, Sicily and Greece.
Our independent merchants allow us to forever evolve the list, experimenting with a variety of styles and winemakers of more playful to more classical low intervention styles, who have become icons of the wine world. Some wines only being available in finite quantities - when they are gone, they are gone.
Wine is available to purchase in-store at Bar Crispin and via our wine club at www.crispinstores.com.
